Ragdoll cats are loved for their affectionate nature, intelligence, and a range of other charming traits. We encourage children to be involved in raising and interacting with Ragdoll cats. If you are looking for an ESA Ragdoll kitten with specific qualities, please be patient and actively participate in the kitten’s socialization training. If you would like our cattery to help train a kitten that meets your requirements, feel free to contact me for more details.

Next, I would like to share the story of my daughter’s ESA kitten with everyone.

One summer day last year, a litter of kittens was born. It’s well-known that male cats tend to be slightly larger than females, and within the same litter, not all kittens are usually the same size. At first, all the kittens in that litter grew healthily. However, by around 10 days old, I began to notice that one kitten looked significantly smaller and thinner than the others. Despite her determined efforts to nurse, the gap in size and weight continued to grow. At that time, I couldn’t be certain whether it was a case of aspiration pneumonia in the newborn kitten or if something else was wrong. Therefore, I decided to start hand-feeding her with supplemental milk and closely monitor her excretory conditions. She managed to get through that tough period. Just when I thought everything was heading in a positive direction, she stopped eating during the weaning phase. For a kitten of her age, going two days without food could be life-threatening.

I began assisting with feeding again. I tried many types of canned food, but none interested her. Fortunately, I finally found canned food for an adult cat that she was willing to try.

I started adding the necessary nutrients to the adult cat canned food she liked to ensure her growth needs were met. What began as her tentative attempts at eating gradually turned into a daily special interaction between us. Since I had to keep her separated from the other kittens, who were still eating kitten-canned food, this became our unique routine.

By the time she was three months old, I was amazed to discover a special bond between her and my daughter. She never felt anxious because of my daughter’s overenthusiasm, nor did she get irritated when my daughter put new clothes on her. She loved the necklace my daughter gave her and enjoyed wearing her hoodie and dresses. They are family and they are friends.

To be continued.
